This weekend, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth proved that you really can be friends with your ex! On Sunday, Wylder’s Holistic Pet Center posted a precious pic (above) of the Hunger Games star with an adorable pooch!
It turns out the furry friend is the Australian hottie’s newest addition to his family, and it’s all thanks to the pop princess!

The pet center wrote on Instagram:

“Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!! You helped find this gigantic, 6 month old puppy a new home. @liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!”

We knew the 22-year-old would always have a soft spot in the actor’s heart, but we didn’t realize they were still this close!
And it seems as though the blonde beauty is a natural at adoption events!
Also on Sunday, the singer used the photo-sharing site to upload a new pet she picked up from the Bella Foundation! Meet Yogi (below)!

Yogi will actually be living with Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, even though the besties are planning on sharing the black-and-white dog.
Anyway, we love that Miley is still a big part of Liam’s life, and that she helps her friends find AW-dorable soulmates!
