
We heard rumblings of an Interview With The Vampire reboot back in 2014, but after several months with nary a peep it seemed the project was dead.
But we should have known it’s tougher to kill a vampire than that!

In yet another round of Universal Pictures-has-more-money-than-sense-right-now news, it appears the second try at a film adaptation of the Anne Rice novel is still in development.
The Fault In Our Stars director Josh Boone shared a photo of the title page of a script he’s working on with Jill Killington last week, proving the rumors of his involvement true:

So is this Hollywood beating a dead horse, then drinking its blood, destined to sink down into the darkness with it?
Or does the film need the reboot treatment in order to establish a franchise — eventually giving us ALL the books in the Vampire Chronicles series??
