Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are locked in a pretty contentious custody battle following their big breakup announcement in September.

When she filed for divorce, Miz Jolie requested sole physical custody of their kids. However, the acclaimed actor is now fighting for joint custody of their big brood.
In spite of all the divorce drama, the actress’ estranged father, Jon Voight, is optimistic about this famous family’s fight, telling E! News:
“I appreciate everybody’s concern and their prayers. Hopefully things will work out.”
The 77-year-old has remained close to his now-estranged son-in-law despite his own rocky relationship with Angie, so we aren’t surprised that he’s hoping for a peaceful conclusion to this messy split.
