Angelina Jolie Spearheading Upcoming Film Franchise

Angelina Jolie is about to seal a major deal alongside Fox to buy the screen rights to author Patricia Cornwell’s novels!
Jolie met with the author to persuade Cornwell into allowing movie adaptations of her Scarpetta novels to be made. After meeting on common ground, the author agreed to the film franchise!
The films are said to be suspense thrillers centering around the character of Dr. Kay Scarpetta, the “opera-loving” coroner Ange hopes to play.
No doubt the films will be a hit – everything Jolie touches turns to Oscar or box office gold!
