Donald Trump Supporter Joy Villa Files Police Report Against Former Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski For Sexual Assault

More allegations of sexual assault from Donald Trump‘s camp — we wish we could say we were surprised.
Joy Villa, who made headlines at this year’s Grammys by wearing a MAGA dress (pictured above), filed a report of sexual assault last week, claiming Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski slapped her ass twice at an invite-only party at Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC in November.

According to the singer, Lewandowski (who was fired in June 2016, but remains close with POTUS) “smacked” her butt after the two took a photo together. After she called him out, he allegedly replied, “go ahead, I work in the private sector,” before slapping her butt again.
She recalled to Politico after being approached about the story:

“I’m wearing this silver suit and stretchy pants, and after the photo, he smacks my ass really hard. It was completely demeaning and shocking. I said, ├óΓé¼╦£Watch it.’ Half-joking, I said, ├óΓé¼╦£I can report you for sexual harassment.’ He said, ├óΓé¼╦£Go ahead, I work in the private sector.’ Then he smacks my ass again.”

Villa described the shock of the moment:

“Corey laughed in my face and ran away. It felt like it was all a big joke to him. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. It was shocking and gross. It was like my bubble burst. It’s how every woman feels when she is sexually harassed.”

The 26-year-old said she hesitated to come forward because of her desire to run for Congress — something she’s received public support for from the President himself:

“I did feel that Corey could badmouth me. I thought, ├óΓé¼╦£What if this messes up my chances.’ He has power and influence, and he’s close with the president, who just tweeted about his book. I wanted to play it safe and avoid the drama.”

Ultimately, she was influenced by all of the other women speaking up in the #MeToo movement. We wonder if she’ll acknowledge all of Trump’s victims now that she’s had a similar experience firsthand.
So far no word back from Lewandowski.
