For those who are concerned, Ron Burgundy is alive and well.
Will Ferrell brought his beloved Anchorman character out (sans mustache) during the Australian Open for one awkward interview with Roger Federer.
The funny man stepped out on the Melbourne, Australian court on Sunday to interrupt the tennis legend’s chat with former pro John McEnroe. And, yes, he went the full Burgundy.

In his booming Anchorman voice, Ferrell intentionally butchered McEnroe’s last name before firing off a string of bizarre questions for Federer to answer — including if he eats wombats to stay on his game, and whether he was a witch or a vampire.
And of course, Ferrell signed off with his signature Burgundy farewell line, reminding the city of Melbourne to keep their class in tact. Watch (below)!

Sure, Ron Burgundy will live forever — but does anyone else think Cord Hosenbeck would’ve asked the tougher questions?
