Wow.
NBA announcer Brian Davis is getting some heat after a stupid comment he made about Russell Westbrook during the Thunder‘s 137-123 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
After the seven-time All-Star hit a three pointer, the Fox Sports Oklahoma broadcaster said:
“Westbrook is out of his cotton-picking mind.”

Understandably, Davis has come under fire online as people did not appreciate the racial connotations in his ignorant comment.
Not to mention, Dan Mahoney, the Thunder’s vice president of broadcasting, said that “the use of the term was offensive and inappropriate.”
