Host Reba McEntire gave the audience and viewers a heads up, explaining why Chris couldn’t be there in person, congratulating him on the glorious news. It was a big night for the Tennessee Whiskey and Midnight Train To Memphis singer, as he also won the Album of the Year and Best Male Vocalist awards.
Oh, AND IT WAS HIS BIRTHDAY TOO.
Fast forward to Tuesday, the couple graciously welcomed fans into the virtual nursery as Morgane shared the first photo of the cherubs on Instagram, revealing they were born more than a month early:
Thank you for all the love! We’re so grateful to finally be home with our sweet family. We would like to say a special thank you to all the incredible nurses & doctors at Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Nashville. At more than a month early, we had a week long stay in the nicu & the incredible people there kept our boys healthy & happy. Words cannot express our gratitude for you all & what you did for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! ♥️♥️A post shared by Morgane Stapleton (@morganwithane) on Apr 17, 2018 at 1:46pm PDT
We are SO thankful everything went okay!
This makes four for Chris and Morgane. The twins have an older brother and sister — whose names have been kept private.
Congrats, y’all!!
