Selena Gomez went on Instagram Live late yesterday for about 45 minutes and talked about a LOT worth running down!
The star — still visibly upset about her magazine cover issue with the folks from Elle — spent a lot of time dissecting that controversy, as well as talking about her humanitarian work, and more.

There’s a lot to take away from the video (which you can watch in full, below), but the main quote is this: Selena says she’s no longer going to do any magazine covers, apparently for fear of being misunderstood/misquoted, and she’s instead going to speak to her fans directly.
The singer said (below):
“I try to say things in an interview for an hour, I’m talking to someone and I’m thinking it’s really good, you’re here, you’re experiencing things and then next thing you know… it’s not anyone’s fault, people just want to get people’s attention but I don’t really understand why. I just wanted to be real with you. Cause I don’t feel like being on another magazine cover ever again. It just… it doesn’t matter.”
