We have an update in the tragic story of late reality TV star Lyric McHenry.
Nearly three months after the 26-year-old was found unconscious on a sidewalk in the Bronx, new details have emerged that point to a cocaine, heroin, and alcohol overdose as the starlet’s cause of death.

According to an affidavit obtained by E!, police have also identified and arrested a 29-year-old man named Alexis Meija-Ramirez, charging him with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
Police used witness interviews and surveillance footage to piece together a scenario where Meija-Ramirez and two other unidentified males transported McHenry’s body to a sidewalk above the Major Deegan Expressway where she was later found. Lyric was transported to and then pronounced dead at a Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. Meija-Ramirez is reportedly currently out on bail.
Nothing can replace the loss of a loved one, but we hope that these answers can somehow help the grieving process for friends and family of the McHenrys.
