Netflix's ‘Gossip Girl’ Description Is Snarky AF!!

Spotted: Netflix getting a little too comfortable with its show descriptions.
The streaming service’s logline for Gossip Girl is so snarky, the internet’s starting to think it was written by the titular girl herself.
It all started on Monday night, while comedian Lane Moore was browsing teen dramas on the streaming service. When she came across a rather scandalous description for a *certain* CW series, Moore knew it was her Twitter-given duty to broadcast it out to the interwebs.

Let’s see that again — but this time, read it in the sardonic voice of Kristen Bell:

“Rich, unreasonably attractive private school students do horrible, scandalous things to each other. Repeatedly.”

Icy… but accurate.
The other series description doesn’t have as much of a bite:

“A group of hyperprivileged Manhattan private-school kids seem to get away with everything. Except an anonymous blogger is watching their every move.”

Are any other shows on Netflix described with such shade? Is the employee who wrote the description a super-fan or a hater? Or… was it GG?
We’ll probably never know.
XOXO
