NBC Picks Up JJ Abrams' New Pilot

J.J. Abrams‘ new pilot Undercovers has been picked up by NBC for next season. The show centers around a married couple who are re-activated as CIA agents after being retired for years.

This is the first Abrams-directed pilot since 2004’s Lost. NBC’s primetime president Angela Bromstad says:

“Having J.J. on our creative team is a great reason for celebration. In Undercovers, J.J. and Josh [Reims] have found a breakout couple that is rich in character and brimming with romance and action. We feel he’s found the perfect cast.”
