A Date's Been Set!

The NBC suits announced on Monday that Jay Leno‘s last appearance on the Tonight Show is scheduled for May 29, 2009.

Conan O’Brien will step in on June 1, 2009.

The suits also countered the reports that Leno is totally done with NBC-Universal — they’re apparently trying to find some way to work with the funny man.

Uhmmm, Jay was the one who said he’s done with y’all.
