DeWet Du Toit is a 25-year-old man who lives like a real Tarzan in South Africa.
Ever since he found out that Warner Brothers would be making a new Tarzan film, he immersed himself in the character.
He runs around the forest, swings through trees, eats nuts and berries and wears a loin cloth!
He made a video and put it on YouTube and now the professional bodybuilder/Tarzan enthusiast is headed to a Tarzan festival in Louisiana and meeting a real Hollywood director! He said:
“I started reading everything I could about Tarzan. Then spending lots of time in the forest, running, jumping, climbing. Working on acting and dialogue.
I├óΓé¼Γäóm so excited. I have never been to the United States and this is a chance to get so close to my dream.”
In the past, Hollywood would tend to brush someone like him off, but with the internet and viral videos, he may be able to gain enough star power to carry a Tarzan movie.
