Robotic Wheelchair Can Climb Stairs!

The Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan has come up with a working prototype of a wheelchair with a special talent…
It can climb stairs!
It can roll around like a normal electric wheelchair but it can also walk the wheels back and forth like legs!
So it can walk right over obstacles.
It even keeps the chair part stable and balanced, so while the “legs” are doing their acrobatics, the person stays nice and level.
Welcome to the future!
