“The first annual T.E.A.L. walk will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Brooklyn├óΓé¼Γäós Prospect Park during National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
The proceeds from this year’s event will benefit The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund; the leading independent agency dedicated to advancing ovarian cancer research in the United States. Since 1998, OCRF has awarded over $28 million in grants to 128 of the brightest women and men in the field today at over 40 leading medical centers across the country.
T.E.A.L. Walk is a non-competitive 5K event. Participants include survivors, caregivers, families, and friends coming together to raise awareness of, and promote a cure for ovarian cancer.”
