“THE MISSION: Expedite Development of the first effective HIV Vaccine.

Covalent Immunology Foundation (CIF) was formed to facilitate the development of low-cost covalent vaccination and abzyme therapies. This innovative research has the potential to prevent and treat HIV infection and other intractable diseases. CIF├óΓé¼Γäós mission is to bring this technology within the reach of socio-economically disadvantaged groups. CIF├óΓé¼Γäós initial goal is to support the FDA Phase I trial of the HIV vaccine candidate (├óΓé¼┼ôE-vaccine├óΓé¼┬¥) developed by Dr. Sudhir Paul. The E-vaccine is unique by virtue of its ability to chemically activate the body├óΓé¼Γäós immune system against a vulnerable region that remains mostly constant in diverse strains of HIV found across the world, a goal that has not been achieved by traditional vaccine approaches.”
