If Timbaland is to be believed, new music from Aaliyah might be on the way — and while the singer left us far too soon, there might be some new songs for us to enjoy and reminisce about her life!

Posting on Instagram late Sunday, the producer put up two pics of Aaliyah, including the one (above) that had the caption:

“Attention!!!!! People ask me all the time do I have any babegirl music we haven’t heard !!!!!well the answer is YES!!!!!!!! TIMBO x BABEGIRL !!!!! Sneak peak coming !!!!!!!”

What the what?! Can’t wait for this sneak peek!!
Later, Timbo posted another shot of Aaliyah to confirm what everybody was hoping:

The last time an official collection of Aaliyah music was released was 2002’s I Care 4 U, and even though other tracks have been rumored to be available after the singer’s 2001 death, nothing else has come out publicly.
Most notably, Aaliyah’s backing vocals were featured as the hook of Chris Brown‘s Don’t Think They Know from his 2013 album X, though Brown took a lot of heat from Timbo and others for putting Aaliyah’s sound on the track.

Now, we’ll see if Timbo — who knew Aaliyah better than almost anybody — is the one who has what it takes to release some more of her work the right way.
What do U think — do U want to hear more Aaliyah music?! Or is it best to remember her through music she released while still alive?
