Quinta Brunson has split from her husband!
The Abbott Elementary star pulled the plug on the marriage to Kevin Anik just three and a half years after tying the knot. In divorce docs filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ on Thursday, the comedian cited the classic “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup. Interestingly, she listed their date of separation as “TBD.” Huh.

The good news is they had a postnup — and she asked the court to divvy up the property according to the previously established agreement. She also wants them to each pay their own attorney’s fees. Phew! Wouldn’t want her losing her Abbott fortune ’cause of this! LOLz! They also didn’t have kids, so, ideally, this will be a swift and simple split.
The couple was incredibly private. They got engaged in July 2020 and married in October 2021. They never really posted much about each other on social media and rarely spoke about their romance, though Quinta did give Kevin a special shoutout when she accepted her Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for her elementary school sitcom in 2022 and again in 2023 at the Golden Globes when she won Best TV Actress in a Musical/Comedy Series.
Sad to see another couple bite the dust! We hope it wasn’t too messy…
