Alex Karras Has Passed Away

Just yesterday we were worried about the state of health that legendary actor and football player Alex Karras was in — and with heavy hearts we bring you the news that he has passed away.
At 77, Alex used to be a bull-necked defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions who left that life and became a multimedia personality.
In the end he succumbed to kidney disease, heart disease, dementia and for the last two years, stomach cancer.
He will be missed by many, and our hearts go out to his family and friends while they mourn the lost of a truly great man.
