Amanda Bynes' Involuntary Confinement Could Last For One Whole Year!!!

This sounds intense!
But we have a feeling it could be the best thing for her!
Amanda Bynes may be getting another conservatorship, but her parents won’t be in charge of her this time around!
In fact, it’s her doctors who are trying to get the conservatorship, and it’s the type of legal conservatorship where they can keep her “confined and medicated” for up to a year!
Its legal term is a LPS Hold which a judge will soon decide if it’s appropriate for Amanda Bynes only if the patient is “gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder or impairment by chronic alcoholism.”
If this is granted it will allow doctors to keep Amanda at a hospital or private medical facility and will also allow them to administer medications to her even if she doesn’t want them.
And an LPS Hold will allow doctors to do WAY more than her parents ever could — which is good since Amanda undoubtedly isn’t talking to them anytime soon!

Doctors will most likely be asking a judge for a new LPS Hold within a week after the one she received last year expired last month.
And since she seemed to be doing REALLY good last year until she stopped taking her meds – we’re hoping that’ll be the case this time around, too!
And hopefully one day she’ll be able to take her meds without being legally forced to – but only if they do help her as much as they seem to.
