Amanda Stanton has a message for her mommy-shamers!
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the Bachelor alum posted pics and videos of her six-year-old daughter Kinsley getting highlights in her hair.
In one clip, the reality TV starlet — who also has five-year-old daughter Charlie Emma — even referred to her girl’s new ‘do as “babylights”!

Unfortunately, after she shared footage on social media, several internet trolls criticized her parenting skills over the young one’s hairstyle.
They wrote:

“Make sure she knows as a child her natural appearance is not enough (poor little girl).”
“When she is in therapy or the plastic surgeon’s office at 13 for not feeling good enough about her looks in this ridiculously shallow insta-world, Mama might be regretting some of the choices she made for her. As the mother of an 18 year old and 15 year old girl… trust me, I know!”

One commenter even criticized Kinsley’s makeup in the (above) pic:

“Not trying to be rude but do you really put make up on your child? Sorry just this isn’t the first photo I have seen with her, with make up on. Is that healthy for her skin?”

That same day, the ABC television personality responded to the controversy on Insta Story.
In her message, the 28-year-old admitted that she was “trolling the trolls” with her post! She wrote:

“Confession: When I posted the poll about getting Kins hair (HARDLY) highlighted, I knew it would trigger the trolls. But I did it anyway … so in a way I was trolling the trolls!”

At the end of the day, Stanton understands that “not everyone is going to agree with everything [she does],” especially when it comes to “parenting.”

“Of course I got some messages saying she’s too young etc… but I got a lot more saying ‘I’m so glad you let her and didn’t care what anyone negative had to say.’ So, moral of the story is. Not everyone is going to agree with everything you do… & that’s okay! We all are entitled to our own decisions and opinions and thoughts on parenting etc and not everyone is going to agree with you and that’s OKAY.'”
