Amber Heard Gets Emotional Over Johnny Depp Split In Newly Released Texts: 'Does He Hate Me?'

Amber Heard gets emo over Johnny Depp breakup in new texts

While most of the coverage of Amber Heard and Johnny Depps’ legal war has centered around bouts of alleged violence and anger, newly released text messages seem to show a softer side of the Aquaman actress.

As we reported, both actors were in regular contact with their CAA talent agent, Christian Carino, and many of their texts to Lady GaGa’s ex-fiancé are being entered as evidence into the ongoing defamation case between them.

The messages date back to 2016, and were sent within the weeks after Heard accused her then-husband of hurling a phone at her face. Although Heard was publicly waging war against the Pirates of the Caribbean star at the time, the actress was privately hoping to let her estranged husband know that she still cared about him.

On October 2, 2016, Heard texted her manager:

”Christian – do you think he and I will ever speak again?”

The now 33-year-old followed up with two messages:

“Does he hate me?”

“I don’t’ see why or how we could just stop talking to each other…Or how are why we could both want to talk to each other, either.”

Carino suggested that Heard “leave it alone for a while.” However, the actress made it clear there were few people she could talk about the drama with, and she really wanted to know what was going through Johnny’s mind at the time.

The two texted again months later, right after Heard split with Elon Musk. She wrote:

“Dealing with break up. I hate when things go public …. C, I’m so sad”

Carino responded by reminding his client that the Tesla mogul was just a rebound, writing:

“You weren’t in love with him and you told me a thousand times you were just filling space.”

Heard replied:

“I know… [but] I wanted time to grieve and recover in my own time… I hate that yet again a man let’s me fall on the spikes by myself…Meaning. They are mad at me for leaving them and put things like this out there…like that.”

The agent then advised Heard she should stop dating “uber” famous people — to which she responded by saying he should take his own advice (LOLz), adding:

“I wasn’t ready for another relationship or breakup to be out there but yet it is…”

She continued the virtual dialogue by sending a string of messages lamenting about her breakup with “JD,” writing:

“I’m devastated…I want to give up”

“Nothing has ever broken my heart more than losing JD…And it has always been that way”

“C, do you ever think we could ever speak again…I don’t know how to ever survive.”

Heard then asked the CAA agent if she could pass a note to Depp that she had written, admitting that she wanted to apologize to her ex.

She texted:

“I [have] written so many notes…Can you give him one? I don’t know how or where to start There’s no way to begin/ end all I have to say but I have so many. Finally, I am single. Clear in my heart and mind. I just want him to know I loved him. And that I am sorry.”

Heard noted, however, that she was hesitant to make contact with Depp right on the heels of her breakup with the tech guru:

“Also. A little worried that if he gets it now it will seem like I’m doing so because of my break up with Elon.”

Heard’s woeful messages continued into 2017. A text from September 23 to Carino read:

”God, I miss him.”

Amber also told her agent she texted Johnny on his birthday, but claimed the message didn’t go through:

”I text him happy birthday…Didn’t go through. Probably for the best. But thought it was the right thing to do. Wanted to let you know.”

For his part, Johnny vented to Carino about Heard’s alleged “Textbook Narcissistic patterns” after their agent set up a secret tête-à-tête for the pair in San Francisco so they could hash things out face-to-face. The actor later told Carino that Heard only wanted “her name cleared,” and called the abuse allegations a “flat-out lie.”

All of these texts could very well play a big part in the defamation cases — one defamation case against The Sun in the UK, and the other against Heard in Virginia — if they go to trial.

Naturally, each side believes the texts support their story: Heard’s team thinks some of the messages include admissions from Depp about domestic violence, while Depp’s team thinks his ex-wife’s texts don’t fall in line with someone who is claiming to be a victim.

What do U think will come from these texts?
