The drama never ends on this show!
First, there was dramz surrounding the writing staff…THEN show creator Frank Darabont QUIT…and NOW AMC wants to cut costs on the show!
Before Darabont exited the show, AMC reportedly was trying to get him to cut costs on The Walking Dead.
Here are a couple of the network’s ideas for keeping things cheap on the show:
– The show shoots for 8 days per episode, so AMC recommended they shoot half of those days indoors
– AMC wanted zombies to be heard and not seen sometimes, so as to save money on makeup costs
Boo! Overall, we think AMC is a fantastic network and they create some of the best shows that are out there today, but this is pret-ty lame!
You guys have got a quality show with The Walking Dead, AMC. Please don’t mess that up. Your fans will thank you for it.
