American Apparel has done lots of controversial and racy things in the past, but this one really stands out on its own!
The clothing retailer is pushing the envelope with its latest piece up for sale — a $32 t-shirt featuring a rather graphic print of a menstruating vagina that also happens to be depicting masturbation.
No holds barred!

The item was created by Canadian artist Petra Collins and illustrator Alice Lancaster, and Collins has explained the idea behind the print, saying:
“I decided to put a super-taboo topic right on a t-shirt to make it viewable for everyone. I├óΓé¼Γäóm really interested in what is hidden from our culture. We are always repressing or hiding what is natural to a post-pubescent body. We├óΓé¼Γäóre taught to hate our menstrual cycle and even to hide masturbation.”
Though we can understand her point, we’re not sure the world is ready for any kind of bleeding genitalia on a t-shirt!
