Tennis powerhouse Venus Williams, who has a “hard-earned” degree in fashion design from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, is using her many skills to do good.
The US Open competitor has designed an eco-friendly tee-shirt that will sell at the U.S. Open, as well as online at USOpen.org.
At $36 a piece, part of the proceeds will benefit Unisphere Inc, an organization which preserves Flushing Meadows Corona Park, where the Open is held.
It’s not…the prettiest. But hey, it’s for charity.
You can wear it to the gym!
