As we’ve been following, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was finally arrested on Thursday following his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. We mean, after so long of hearing about his alleged creepy actions alongside his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, we were all just waiting for it! And on his 66th birthday, it happened. He was taken into custody on suspicion of misconduct in public office and has since been released while an investigation continues.
King Charles III released a statement saying he’s on the side of the law as police raided Royal Lodge following Andrew’s detainment. Word has it cops are also taking a look at other royal residences, too. It’s really happening, y’all. But how is Andrew feeling? The royal expert told Page Six on Thursday ahead of the former royal’s arrest:
“Andrew doesn’t know what the problem is. Andrew believes he’s been hard done by, he’s a victim in all of this, he’s being persecuted.”
Yeah… Just let that sink in for a moment.
After all those pictures, all those disgusting emails, all the horrifying allegations — not to mention even the heartbreaking story of the late Virginia Giuffre — it’s unfathomable. But sure, HE’S the victim. Eff off.
The expert went on to say the former Duke of York is a “narcissist” who has “never been disciplined.” Well, with any luck, the court will discipline him now!
Ahead of Andrew’s arrest, the Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York author said he’d heard rumors that the deep dive into the former royal was underway:
“I’ve heard he’s being investigated finally, seriously for sex trafficking and misconduct in public office.”
And now we know he’s really under investigation. In the case of an offense like this misconduct allegation, if Andrew is found guilty, he could get a life sentence. Whoa.
