Oh no!
Pulizer Prize-winning author Frank McCourt is seriously ill with meningitis and not expected to survive.
McCourt’s brother, Malachy, said that Frank resides in a New York hospice where “his facilities are shutting down.”
The author was recently treated for melanoma, but was doing well until about two weeks ago.
“He was out and about, being active, doing talks and so forth,” said the grieving sibling. “He is not expected to live.”
