Awww, they’re just like everyone else!
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s new film, By the Sea is due out on Friday and it’s got Miz Jolie talking.
The new film — which not only stars the power couple but is also written, directed, and produced by Angelina — follows a couple dealing with their marital problems while traveling in 1970s France.

While interviewing with The Telegraph, the 40-year-old actress opened up about both marriage and working with her man, saying:
“Brad and I have problems like any other couple… We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad, but the problems in the movie aren’t our specific problems.”
The Oscar winning actress went on to talk about the difference between making By the Sea and Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2005, she noted:
“When we first worked together it was very different because we didn’t really know each other and we were young, and it was really a fun film, so we thought maybe By the Sea was going to be that kind of fun, but realized very quickly that it wasn’t. So it was challenging [this time], but we made a private pact that we were going to try to be as open and honest and emotive as possible and give to each other as much as we could and, succeed or fail, we would just lay it bare.”
The film must have been an inneresting experience to make as they shot it in Malta back in 2014 shortly after their wedding in France!
Pitt had previously spoken with the Wall Street Journal regarding working with his wife saying:
“Being a couple, we have that shorthand that can be communicated in a look. Conversely, it means I knew immediately she felt a take stunk.”
Well that’s definitely one advantage!
While Brangelina’s drama isn’t anywhere near what it is in their upcoming movie, it’s nice to hear they’re not perfect either!
