After months of nasty court battles, it appears Angelina Jolie has finally extended an olive branch to Brad Pitt.
According to The Sun, the Maleficent 2 star has granted her ex-husband a lengthy amount of time with their kids this summer — the most time he’ll have spent with them since their messy breakup in 2016!
As you likely know, the former couple have been at legal war since their split, with most arguments being over the custody of their kiddos, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. But as the summer heats up, so is Angie’s filming schedule — so, the Oscar-winner apparently “reached out” to her ex and “offered him the chance” to look after their sizable brood while she films.

A source noted this was a “massive step” for the former couple, explaining to the U.K. outlet:
“Angelina is going to be spending a lot of the summer filming Those Who Wish Me Dead, so she reached out to Brad and offered him the chance to look after the children. This is a massive step for them and the children, who have only had limited time with Brad since the break-up.”
Time really does heal all wounds! As does the need of a babysitter, we guess.
Either way, Brad is said to be ecstatic over the opportunity to spend more time with their children. The insider said the actor is pulling out all the stops to carve out a fun filled summer for them — including time with Grandpa and Grandpa Pitt!
The source continued:
“It feels like a really positive move all round and Brad is over the moon. He’s invited his parents, Jane and William, to stay with them at his mansion in LA so they can have some proper family time together.”
Fun!
Angelina’s apparent olive branch comes months after the couple worked out a custody agreement over their six kiddos.

The actress’ lawyer confirmed the settlement news in a statement to Reuters in late November, saying:
“A custody arrangement was agreed to weeks ago, and has been signed by both parties and the judge. The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator, eliminates the need for a trial. The filing and details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children.”
A source revealed back in March Brad and Angie “have been on better terms” since their custody trial drama was settled, telling Us Weekly:
“Brad must get Angie’s approval before traveling with the kids, as she must get permission from him as well. Brad and Angie have been on better terms since the custody trial drama was settled. There are of course, going to continue to be disagreements between them.”
Sounds like the stars are finally putting their egos aside and focusing on what’s best for their brood!
