Chickenpox certainly isn’t fun, but is it absurd??
Angelina Jolie sure thinks so!
The actress and director recently sat down with TODAY‘s Al Roker to chat, and one of the many things they discussed was her recent illness.
Mrs. Brad Pitt came down with the viral infection during her Unbroken press tour, which was obviously horrible timing!
She explained:
“It was so absurd. What was even stranger, during the day before, I was doing interviews, and I was like, ‘what is happening?!'”
Thankfully, Angie has a supportive family that was more than happy to take over for her when she was ill!

The gorgeous mother sent her kids to take her place at the Los Angeles Unbroken premiere, and said that they were happy to fill in! Angelina described:
“It was really fun that my kids took the mantle. They took it very seriously when I said, ‘You’ve got to represent mom.'”
Cuteness!
And they did a GREAT job of representing!!
