Oh, to think of what could’ve been!
In case you didn’t know, Jon Stewart and Angelina Jolie go wayyy back — way back to the 90s when they filmed Playing by Heart together!
And when the Unbroken director visited The Daily Show in New York on Thursday, Jon discussed meeting the actress for the first time.
He had nothing but great things to say about Angie, and raved:
“Ever since I met you about 20 years ago on set, I thought, ‘This person has talent coming out of everywhere. You meet certain people and you go, ‘This person embodies something different, special.’ I’ve always thought that about you.”
Aww, how sweet!

But with sweetness comes weirdness, apparently!!
Mr. Stewart also imagined what his life would’ve been like if he had ended up with Angelina instead of Brad Pitt, saying:
“If you’d ended up with me instead of Brad Pitt, our portmanteau ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ Stewart and Jolie ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ would have been ‘Stolie’. We could have been a vodka brand!”
LOLz, we’d drink it!!
Although we couldn’t imagine a more perfect couple than Brad and Angie. Sorry Jon!
