It’s been almost a year since Ann Curry relieved Meredith Viera of her early morning co-host duties at NBC’s Today Show, and it seems the inner whisperings among the cast/crew are that she is about to get AXED.
Apparently, the mighty Matt Lauer can’t stand his co-anchor and believes she has created a boring shell out of a once bright and fulfilling show.
When Viera left the show, Lauer’s worth only increased, and in the eyes of many NBC execs Curry’s transition into the co-anchor chair was “rocky.”
Ouch!
