Ann Curry Worries If She's 'Good Enough' For The Today Show

Ann Curry Home Journal
Nearly two days after reports of her being replaced on the Today show surfaced, a revealing interview with Ann Curry was released that sheds some light on the innteresting news.
In the August issue of Ladies’ Home Journal, the co-host opened up about her position on the morning show, which she took up a year ago, replacing Meredith Vieira.
Ann dished on her insecurities, stating:

“It’s hard not to take it personally. You worry, am I not good enough? Am I not what people need? Am I asking the right questions?”

Oh no…it seems like she might├óΓé¼Γäóve seen this one coming all along…
Curry then went on to say:

“When people say negative things or speculate, you can’t help but feel hurt. I know NBC pays my salary, but I have never doubted who I work for. I think about the people who watch. They’re the ones who matter to me. I want to feel I haven’t dropped the ball when it comes to them.├óΓé¼┬¥

That is true! The viewers├óΓé¼Γäó opinions are the ones that really SHOULD matter, although, ultimately it├óΓé¼Γäós up to the big bosses over at NBC…and they zero-in on the ratings.
Ann also talked candidly about the things in her personal life that she would change about herself, revealing she sometimes doesn’t understand her own worth and thinks it’s a “chronic condition for women.”
Sadly, that speaks for a lot of us — self-doubt can definitely turn yourself into your own worst enemy!
Regardless of what happens with Today, Ann has had one AHmazing career thus far and it seems she has other goals ready to set in motion!
While she has been with the talk show for 15 years and would ├óΓé¼┼ôlove to make it to 20,├óΓé¼┬¥ she confessed her desire for teaching and wants to ├óΓé¼┼ôpositively influence the next generation.”
We think she’s already accomplished that, but would definitely make a great teacher!
We wish her the best in whatever may come next!
