Anne Hathaway might’ve gotten blasted on Twitter over yet another win at the BAFTA Awards this past weekend, but it seems she got booed as well!
Mz. Hathaway explained to Jay Leno last night on The Tonight Show that she was “so late” for the show, that she was forced to zoom right by reporters on the carpet!
Not only that, but as Anne added:
├óΓé¼┼ôThe worst part was, I missed the fans. They’re out in the cold and the rain and the sleet, and they booed me. I got booed, my dress ripped and I had the flu.”
Ouch! Not as glamorous as one would expect from such a celebratory night!
However, Anne still looked on the brightside, taking time to jokingly note:
├óΓé¼┼ôIt turned out great. I got to hug George Clooney, and that’s the whole point. And, oh yeah, I got a really amazing, prestigious award. That’s pretty cool.”
Ha! Yes, a hug from George would definitely turn anyone’s night around!
Hopefully she’s feeling a bit better now and can finally take in her best supporting actress BAFTA win!
Better rest up for the Oscars…!!!
