Anne Hathaway Keeps Talking About the "Elephant in the Room"

On her Rachel Getting Married promotional tour, Anne Hathaway has ended up talking about her shady ex probably more than she talks about her upcoming film.

In case you were interested in it, Hathaway plays a recovering drug addict let out of rehab to attend her sister’s wedding. Family drama ensues. The film opens this Friday and has already been generating Oscar buzz for Annie.

Production caught Anne picking up her character’s habit of smoking, but she has since quit.

Good for her!

In the much more interesting part of Hathaway’s interview with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts, she discusses how she dealt with the arrest and incarceration of ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri for his involvement with the Vati-Con Scandal.

Displaying a great deal of composure, she says she still doesn’t know quite how to digest the events and admits that she will probably never have the whole thing figured out.

But the one thing she can say for certain and wants everyone to know is that she’s okay.

“What’s the right thing to do? Do you talk about it? It’s the elephant in the room. I think it’s better to let everyone know that I’m OK. I’m trying to move on and have a sense of humor about everything.”

Stay strong, homeslice!
