More shocking allegations are coming out against Eric Swalwell.
As we reported over the weekend, the politician, who was a Democratic front-runner for California governor, was accused of a slew of sexual assault and misconduct atrocities by multiple women. Now, another alleged victim is sharing her gut-wrenching story.
On Tuesday, Swalwell’s latest accuser Lonna Drewes came forward with heinous allegations against the politician. During a press conference with her attorney Lisa Bloom, Drewes offered an alleged timeline of her and Swalwell’s relationship. She says she first met him in Beverly Hills in 2018 when she worked as a model and owned a software company. At the time, she expressed interest in politics, and claimed Swalwell offered to help advance her career:
“I was not interested in him romantically, but I was interested in the business relationship and professional connections he offered to provide.”
She claims Swalwell invited her to two public events before things turned traumatic:
“On the third occasion, I believed he drugged my drink. I only had one glass of wine.”
She claimed the pair were supposed to attend another political event, but that Swalwell said he first needed to grab some paperwork from his hotel room:
“When I arrived at his hotel room I was already incapacitated and I couldn’t move my arms or my body.”
How terrifying.
She went on to describe the alleged sexual assault by Swalwell, claiming:
“He raped me, and he choked me. And while he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died. I did not consent to any sexual activity.”
There are just no words… The accuser acknowledged she knew Swalwell was married with kids at the time of the alleged assault, and claimed she would have never consented to a sexual relationship:
“I would never have engaged in a consensual sexual encounter with Eric Swalwell.”
Drewes revealed she did not undergo a rape kit following the alleged assault, but told close friends and opened up about the damage it had on her mental health during therapy sessions:
“I self-medicated in an unhealthy way. I did not want to live anymore. I cried all the time for years.”
Bloom added she and Dewes planned to file a report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office immediately following the press conference. In said report, text messages and photo evidence will apparently be included.
Up until now, Drewes said she’s been afraid to come forward because of Swalwell’s political power, but is now ready to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, including the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, actively investigating him.
This comes after the husband of ANOTHER of Swalwell’s accusers threatened him with legal action over the weekend. On Saturday, Adam Parkhomenko, husband of influencer Ally Sammarco, took to social media to threaten Swalwell should he make a statement that “disparages” Sammarco:
“If Eric Swalwell or his attorney makes a single statement that disparages my wife, I will be filing a lawsuit against him. I’ve already made clear that if he believes anything I’ve said is untrue, he should sue me immediately.”
Sammarco previously claimed she once messaged Swalwell on X (Twitter) to discuss politics, and to her surprise, he responded. She says the pair eventually connected on Snapchat, where Swalwell allegedly went on to send her unsolicited nude photos and insinuated they “should get together and hook up.” Additionally, she alleged to CNN Swalwell would sometimes go for jogs in her neighborhood and ask her to come downstairs from her apartment to meet him:
“It made me feel gross and uncomfortable. I didn’t ask for that.”
Over the weekend, Swalwell publicly denied all allegations in a video on X (Twitter):
“These allegations of sexual assault are flat false. They are absolutely false. They did not happen. They have never happened. And I will fight them with everything I have.”

CNN further reported Swalwell threatened legal action against his alleged victims and even sent some of them cease and desist orders. However, as of Monday, Swalwell revealed he plans to resign amid the troubling situation. The same day, Drewes’ attorney Bloom took to Instagram to react:
“This is not an act of accountability. The reason why he is resigning is to avoid the ethics investigation that Congress opened into him. Once you resign, that ethics investigation typically closes. Unfortunately, that’s why.”
