Saying goodbye to a legend.
Aretha Franklin‘s funeral coverage began at 9 a.m. EST on Friday at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, and is expected to last till about 3 p.m. EST.
Along with a service that will reflect the legend’s strong gospel roots, speakers will include former President Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Cicely Tyson, among many others.

Franklin’s life is being celebrated in song as well, with a star-studded lineup of performers, including Ariana Grande, Chaka Khan, Faith Hill, Stevie Wonder, and more.
