Now that Aretha Franklin has announced she plans to marry long-time beau William Wilkerson, the fashion world is wondering one main thing — who will design her wedding dress?
The 69-year-old plans to have a summer wedding in Miami Beach, and as for dresses, her rep revealed:
├óΓé¼┼ôMs Franklin is considering Donna Karan, Valentino and the queen of wedding dresses, Vera Wang, to design her gown”.
Though according to sources, Wang is said to be Aretha’s first choice.
We can’t imagine Vera turning down the Queen of Soul, but for now we’ll just have to wait and see who gets choosen.
Our bet is on Vera Wang.
