Aretha Franklin Reportedly 'Gravely Ill'

Aretha Franklin is reportedly “gravely ill.”

According to Showbiz 411, the iconic singer is in a Detroit hospital surrounded by family and those closest to her. They’re asking for “prayers and privacy” during this difficult time.

While details of her health aren’t clear, the 76-year-old Grammy winner has faced unspecified problems in the past, in addition to rumors of battling cancer back in 2010, which she went on to deny.

But most recently, the Respect songstress said this past November that she’s “doing well generally.”
