Ariana Grande remembers the second anniversary of the Manchester Arena bombing.

Ariana Grande will never forget the tragedy that occurred at the Manchester Arena two years ago today.
On Wednesday, the starlet took to to social media to pay tribute to the city of Manchester and remember the lives lost after a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device just as thousands were leaving Ari’s concert on May 22, 2017. The devastating attack claimed the lives of 23 fans and injured countless others.

As of now, the single IG story post (above) is the only message Grande has shared in regards to the tragic incident. Although, we expect she might share a few more thoughts about it soon.
Fans may remember that the 25-year-old actually paid tribute to the moment on her latest studio album, Sweetener. The track Get Well Soon includes a moment of silence, and is five minutes and twenty-two seconds long, mirroring the date of the attack (May 22). She confirmed that the Pharrell Williams-produced track was inspired by the personal anxiety and trauma she experienced as a result of it all.
The songstress also shared these heartfelt words with her followers last year on the one-year anniversary of the violent attack:

“thinking of you all today and every day. I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day.”

Meanwhile, the singer’s mother Joan Grande posted her own tribute to the city of Manchester on Wednesday, too. Speaking from the heart, she wrote on Twitter saying:

“All my love Manchester, today and everyday… you are with me always, in my heart and in my mind. To ALL of who you have suffered and still suffer from tremendous loss, trauma or devastating injury.. I love you, I send you a warm hug, today and forever. #OneLove”

Echoing those sentiments, our hearts are with the victims of the Manchester Area bombing victims on this sad anniversary. We will never forget you.

Months after the Manchester bombing, Ariana hosted and performed at the One Love Manchester Benefit Concert. The star-studded fundraiser helped raise money for the victims and families affected by the bombing.
Grande is set to make her return to the beloved city later this year as a headliner at the 2019 Manchester City Pride Festival in August.
