Asia Argento Admits Cheating On Anthony Bourdain In Tearful New Interview

Asia Argento Anthony Bourdain suicide interview Jimmy Bennett

Asia Argento is not stepping back from the spotlight as her own sexual assault controversy plays out.
The Italian actress wept over the suicide of her boyfriend Anthony Bourdain in an emotional interview with DailyMailTV. It’s the first time she’s gotten candid about his death since the chef took his own life in June, and she’s still visibly devastated.
Fighting back tears, the 43-year-old told reporter Laura Collins the death of her partner of two years left a “hole” inside her that “cannot be filled by anything.”

When she first heard the news, Argento recalled feeling “anger” towards Bourdain for abandoning her and her kids. As the months passed, however, she said that anger turned into a numbing void.
She explained:

“So… and then, I was angry, yes, for abandoning me, my kids, but now it’s been replaced, just by… this loss… this hole… that cannot be filled by anything…Now, the anger kept me alive because otherwise this desperation has no end, there’s no end.”

Argento had plenty to be angry about, with many strangers online blaming her:

“People say I murdered him. They say I killed him. But I understand that the world needs to find a reason. I would like to find a reason too. I don’t have it. Maybe I would feel some solace in thinking there was something that happened.”

As for the conspiracy theory about her cheating on Bourdain? She actually admits it’s true; she DID cheat on him. But she says that was part of their “grown-up” relationship:

“He cheated on me too. It wasn’t a problem for us.”

Wow.
The emotional interview comes on the heels of Jimmy Bennett doing his own interview on Italian television to discuss his allegations that Argento sexually assaulted him when he was a minor.
