Guns N’ Roses is setting the record straight.
As we already know, Axl Rose and Slash are sharing the stage for the first time since 1993 for the band’s upcoming reunion at Coachella.
And on Monday, Steven Tyler told Howard Stern that he actually played a huge part in bringing the guys back together.

On The Howard Stern Show, the Aerosmith frontman claimed that a chat he had with Axl actually sparked the reconciliation, saying:
“I did meet Axl a few years ago and we had that talk. I said, ‘You need to get back together again soon because we all f*cking miss you.’ Same thing that someone said to me [a few years back]…. So I said to Axl, you gotta get back. There’s a place in time where if you don’t, you’re gonna miss it.”
But now, the group is demanding that’s not how it happened. Like at ALL!
On Wednesday, the band took to Twitter to share a shady statement about their highly-anticipated headlining spot at the music festival, posting:
