While Riley Curry can literally do no wrong, her mother Ayesha Curry has a polarizing effect on the public.
Over the past few years, the momma-of-two has gone from being known only as Stephen Curry‘s wife to a media star in her own right, from sharing recipes to posting cooking videos on YouTube.
But the 27-year-old’s traditionalist views doesn’t sit well with everyone, as she got heat late last year for of her comments about dressing “classy” — which some critics took as thinly-veiled slut shaming!
So, when the Warriors wife announced she would be headlining her own Food Network cooking series tentatively titled At Home with Ayesha, Twitter was decidedly divided on the news.

Among the YouTube cook’s defenders were those who argued she shouldn’t be hated for having a conservative taste — and guys who said they’d rather see more Ayeshas than Amber Roses in the spotlight. Ouch!
But the soon-to-be celebrity chef’s critics took a more satirical approach — joking that Ayesha’s cooking commentary will be full of condescending remarks to women who don’t share her values!
