This sounds like major trouble for BET!
After hiring B. Scott to be their “Style Stage Correspondent” for this year’s BET Awards pre-show, the openly transgender “multimedia maven” is now suing the network for what went down behind the scenes!
The well-known internet personality started off wearing a previously approved sheer tunic, matching pants and heels, but according to the lawsuit, Scott was “ordered to mute the makeup, pull back his hair” and change into a men’s suit and loafers.
Even though the adjustments were made, it was to no avail because Scott was yanked from the show and replaced by Adrienne Bailon.
The lovebscott.com creator is asking BET fork over $2.5 million in reputation damages and for discriminating based on gender identity and sexual orientation as well as a “true public apology”.
BET has yet to comment on the situation, but until they do, you can view the two different outfits (below)!
