It's A Special Day At Chester Zoo With Rare Onager Foal!

There’s nothing foul about this foal!!!
The Chester Zoo in England welcomed a rare onager babe to first time mom Zarrin on June 10.
The onager or Asiatic Wild Ass, is native to Iran but overgrazing, illegal poaching and disease have limited their numbers.
The Chester Zoo is part of an international breeding program to help the onager, a distant relative to the donkey.
Looks like this zoo is doing their part well.
Congrats to the new mama and her foal!
