'Bachelor' Creator Mike Fleiss & Wife Reconcile After Domestic Violence Allegations

Together again!

Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss and his wife Laura Fleiss have reconciled following a split, and they’re ready to open up about working on their marriage!

On Sunday, the two each took to Twitter to share the news. The 55-year-old wrote (below):

“Happy to report that @FleissLaura and I have reconciled. I love my wife and am grateful for this opportunity to work on our marriage… Thanks for the support, #BachelorNation!”

Via her newly created account, Laura also chimed in to announce the newly harmonized relationship, and disspell rumors of violence from July:

“Over the summer, my husband and I went through a challenging time, as all marriages do. There was an emotionally charged incident in which we fought over a phone and both exhibited immature and irresponsible behavior. This situation led to making rash decisions we both regret…”

“However, I would like to correct the erroneous reporting that my husband intentionally tried to attack and hurt me. That is untrue. We both take full responsibility for our actions and have worked very hard to repair the damage to our relationship and family…”

“…and are working together with the help of a marriage counselor to rebuild what we lost. I love @fleissmeister and our kids very much. We appreciate your support at this time.“

ICYMI, it was revealed in legal documents Laura had filed for an emergency domestic violence restraining order against her husband over an alleged incident in early July. According to the papers, the 2012 Miss America winner — who said she is about 10 weeks pregnant with the couple’s second child — claimed the reality TV honcho demanded she get an abortion.

The docs read:

“While we were at our house in Kauai, Mike demanded that I get an abortion. Our [4-year-old] son Ben was in the house, seated in another room nearby. Mike told me, ‘If you have an abortion, then we can just go back to the way we were.'”

As if that wasn’t already bad enough, the 31-year-old alleged at the time the argument continued on for several days before the producer attacked her. She detailed (below):

“While Mike has frequently been verbally abusive towards me during our marriage, in recent weeks, he has become enraged, due to the fact I am pregnant with our second child. Mike told me many times that he did not want us to have a second child. He also repeatedly told me throughout our marriage, and prior to our marriage, that he knew he would ‘have to have’ one child with me because I was 26-years-old when we got married, did not yet have any children, and he knew I wanted to have a family. Mike, however, being 55 years old, did not want to have more than one child together.'”

Reports in late July claimed the domestic violence allegations were swiftly dropped as part of a divorce agreement — granting Laura $10 million, and 50/50 legal and physical custody of their son Ben Fleiss.

Glad they’ve managed to work things out!! Wonder what changed?
