Kaitlyn Bristowe is letting the whole world know how she feels — consequences be damned!
The former Bachelorette went on comedian Nikki Glaser‘s Talkhouse Podcast this week to discuss the reality TV franchise, her experiences on the show, and more — and the topic of Dancing with the Stars came up. As you’ll no doubt recall, another former Bachelorette — Hannah Brown — took part in this season’s DWTS…
But as Bristowe is quick to note, that’s a sore subject for her!

Even though she was one of the most popular leading ladies ever on the love-lorn reality TV show, Kaitlyn reminded Nikki and her audience a transition to DWTS was never a reality for her… and revealed it all came down to the wishes of controversial Bachelorette creator Mike Fleiss.
The 34-year-old explained (below):
“They won’t let me [go on DWTS], ever. I’ll tell you exactly why I can’t go on Dancing with the Stars. Anybody that listens to this podcast knows why I cannot go on Dancing with the Stars. And it’s because, and I will say this with a mic in my hand and a smile on face, that Mike Fleiss is a piece of s**t. He is the creator of The Bachelor, and he hates women.”
Um… WOW! That went from 0 to 100 really quickly!!!
But as it turns out, there’s a long history here — and this week is far from the first time Bristowe has made this same very specific, very charged claim.
As you can see (below), the former reality TV leading lady previously straight up called out Fleiss back in 2017 over her own apparent DWTS deal that fell through — due to his meddling, she claims — after a fan asked her about the competition show:

Whoa!! That’s quite an accusation from two and a half years ago… but it sure matches up with what Bristowe is claiming on Glaser’s podcast this week!

And after Fleiss himself hopped on Twitter at the time back in 2017 to try to do damage control on Kaitlyn’s accusation, the brunette bombshell came right back over the top on him, too (below):

Dayummm!!! So maybe there is something there, huh?! Ya think?!?!
Kaitlyn is at that point where Fleiss can’t touch her career — she’s obviously well past her days on his hit ABC reality show — and so she’s open to tell it like she sees it, consequences be damned.
And she may be on to something: four Bachelor men have competed in the past on DWTS, while only two leading ladies — Hannah, and season one Bachelorette Trista Sutter — have ever done the show.

To that end, Bristowe is at least proud to have pressed the issue enough to make things better for Hannah B. and the ones after her.
Back to Glaser’s podcast, where the fiery reality TV star summed it all up (below):
“So [Fleiss] lets all the Bachelors go on and the only reason he let Hannah go on this season of Dancing with the Stars is because — well, I hope I had something to do with it, that I said something — but because he’s in hot water because there’s some s**t that came out on him abusing his wife. So he’s like, ‘Look at me, I love women.’ As long as he’s in power with ABC, I will never get on that show.”
Talk about telling it like it is…. And Fleiss has been in hot water recently over the dissolution of his marriage, so there may be some real desire there for the creator and producer to smooth things out in the public eye.
