ABC Boss Responds To Theory That Peter Weber Ends Up With A 'Bachelor' Producer

Bachelor fans think Peter Weber ends up with a producer

Fans might need oxygen masks at the end of Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, because one running theory hints at the most dramatic conclusion in the reality TV show’s history.

As fans know, the 28-year-old pilot is down to four women — Hannah Ann Sluss, Madison Prewett, Kelsey Weier, and Victoria Fuller — and guesses are flying in as to which lucky lady will receive the final rose.

But one ongoing theory suggests Weber will do something no Bachelor or Bachelorette has ever done before: cast his rose-seekers aside and drive off (fly off?) into the sunset with… a Bachelor producer!

That’s right. According to a recent thread on Reddit, Weber ends up in a relationship with a producer from the series named Julie LaPlaca (pictured above). Yes, seriously!

As the Reddit sleuth points out, LaPlaca made an appearance in a photo Weber’s father posted from New Years Eve of the family — Pilot Pete included — out to dinner at Carmine’s in New York City. See (below):

The thread also notes the producer has been tagged in photos while wearing Seattle Seahawks garb, which is Weber’s favorite football team.

Unsurprisingly, Bachelor bosses are remaining tight lipped about who Peter winds up with. While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Robert Mills, ABC’s senior vice president of alternative series, specials, and late-night teased what fans can expect from the upcoming finale. He told the outlet:

“Well, I hate to get in the way of a good rumor, so I’m not going to confirm or deny about whether he ends up with a producer! I don’t know how we’d ever top that though! But, it is crazy.”

The exec added:

“What we’ve seen about the finale over the years is that the ‘finale’ is really on that night when the show goes live. There’s a lot of craziness, it’s a roller coaster, but I would say even now the roller coaster hasn’t ended, and it won’t end until after After the Final Rose.

So stay tuned!

For those who missed Monday night’s episode, Weber and the six remaining contestants traveled to Lima, Peru. Weier and Prewett both received roses on their respective one-on-one dates, while Natasha Parker‘s one-on-one date ended with Weber sending her home. Later, he ended things with Kelley Flanagan during the three-on-one date over Sluss and Fuller.

We’ll see which contestant — or producer?! — is still standing at the end of the season!
