The Backstreet Boys have filed documents asking a judge to get nearly $3.5 MILLION from their former manager, Lou Pearlman!
It’s been 15 years since they fired Lou, but BSB says he STILL owes them all of this cash, and they’re willing to go to trial to prove it!
Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell will all reportedly appear in court on March 24th as part of Pearlman’s ongoing bankruptcy case. According to their original contract with Lou, the boy band is still entitled to $3,451,456.04.
Wow, they really want every last penny!
The boys are also asking for over $87,000 in legal fees that they’ve racked up after fighting him in court for so long!
Pearlman and the trustee of his bankruptcy are of course fighting back. They filed an objection to BSB’s claim on the grounds that the 2,700 proofs of claims filed against Pearlman require a comprehensive review, which will take time.
The trustee also suggested that the band didn├óΓé¼Γäót provide the court with “backup information to allow the Trustee to confirm valid claims for fees and costs.├óΓé¼┬¥
